This year’s event started at Brimstage Hall Arts & Craft Centre
with 22 cars taking part and one support car. The weather was cloudy but fine.
Clues were solved and refreshments enjoyed prior to entrants driving on their merry way.
The first stop was at Storeton Woods where most people solved all the clues.
The second stop at Bidstone enables people to have a comfort break, solve clues
and stretch their legs before heading for Leasowe Lighthouse, where numerical
skills were involved and a walk along the sea shore.
The route took in Higher Bebington, Oxton, Bidstone, Leasowe, Meols, Hoylake and West Kirby
finishing at THE COTTAGE LOAF the first entrants arriving shortly before 1.00pm with all finishing
by 2.00pm where food was enjoyed and general discussions took place on the answers to questions.
