Wirral Historic Vehicle Rally

WIRRAL CLASSIC CAR CLUB MEMBERS ONLY
Wirral Historic Vehicle Rally is a touring event which takes place in July each year and is a very popular assembly of pre-entered vehicles first manufactured prior to 31st December 1991.
The event normally attracts around eighty vehicles and all entries must be received before the 1st May, to enable the entries to be compiled, venues to be notified of numbers and relevant permits obtained.
Vehicles entered in the Rally congregate at the start venue (The Red Fox, Liverpool Road, Thornton Hough, Wirral, CH64 7TL) from 9.00am where they are available for viewing by the general public. The vehicles will leave in small groups, after 11.00am.
After a 30 mile tour of the Wirral the vehicles congregate at their final destination (The Green, Neston Road, Thornton Hough, CH63 1JW) where from 12.30am members of the public can view the cars.
The Prize giving commences at 2.45pm with prizes awarded for:-
Best Period Dress
Best Car awarded by the Red Fox
Best Car award by Thornton Hough
Hamper draw (Entrants and Marshals)
Individual plaques will be presented to all prize winners
The Blair Percival Trophy is awarded to a Club Member who has supported the event enthusiastically.
