Wirral Classic Car Club caters for enthusiasts of older vehicles and offers a wide range of events, shows, meetings and social events. There is a club night held monthly in a private room at the British Legion, 78, Pensby Road, Heswall, Wirral CH60 7RF on the last Wednesday of each month apart from December commencing at 8.00 pm.

We are members of the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs (FBHVC) and receive support as well as regular updates from the federation which are passed on to our members in the Newsletter.

We produce a bi-monthly electronic “Newsletter” which is sent to all members with an email addresses. The Newsletter contains news and views from members as well as details of events run by the club and other clubs. It also contains links to information received from the FBHVC and a link to our “Facebook” page.

All club members are eligible to join our Facebook page where they can provide information of forthcoming events and discuss matters appertaining to their personal thoughts on all things associated with classic vehicles.

Our members own a wide variety of vehicles ranging from Veteran, Vintage and pre-war to the more up to date classic cars, vans and motorcycles. It is not a requirement of membership that you own a Classic vehicle and we encourage new members who just have an interest without owning one to join us and be involved in the many events and activities we enjoy.

Our monthly club nights are organised by members of the committee and we try to have a variety of events to include nights dedicated to Models, Photography, Games, Problem Solutions, Guest Speakers and an Auction. We hold a Ladies Evening each year to present bouquets to ladies who have helped with events, which also includes speakers and a raffle of Beauty products. Members Car Night is held during June when club members can bring their pride and joy to be judged by the members for the “Car of the Year Trophy”.

As we do not hold a club night in December, we make arrangements for a Christmas Party with traditional food and party games at a suitable venue.

The Club this year supports the Charity Dementia Together Wirral.
