The Wirral Historic Vehicle Rally takes place in July each year and is a very popular Touring Assembly
of pre-entered cars first manufactured prior to 31 December 1980 and to period specification.
Entries must be received before 1 May and are described in over 2,000 event programmes distributed
free to the public from the 1st. July. The event comprises a morning run, lunch stop and a finish
stop and thousands of people line the roads of Wirral to wave at the cars.
Judging is on a “pride of ownership” basis and entrants are encouraged to wear period attire
appropriate to the age of their vehicle and to display information about their entry at
the stops that will be of interest to the public.
You can download an entry form below and the event is open to non members providing that they
have eligible vehicles, enter before the closing date and that there are spaces available.
Details of the best times to see the cars and times of the stops etc. and where to get
the free event programmes is shown on the “poster of current event”, which can
