Social Run and Treasure Hunt 2019Wirral CCC Editor

Sunday 28th April 2019

This year’s event coincided with the “National Drive it Day” and started at the
Gift Cafe Puddington with 10 classic cars taking part.  After heavy rain and winds the
previous day, there was no further rain and three of the cars were brave enough to
travel with their hoods down.
This year’s route took them to Capenhurst Village, the Boat Museum Ellesmere Port,
then a drive back to Ness Gardens then along the Parkgate Parade to the final venue for
finding clues at the Dee Sailing Club, Thurstaston.  Afterwards it was a short drive to the finish
at the Harvest Mouse in Heswall for a meal and to hear the final results.
